LA County reports sharp rise in COVID hospitalization rate as holiday weekend looms

On Tuesday, Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer told the Board of Supervisors the average daily rate of new COVID admissions to hospitals in the county had fallen to 6.6 per 100,000 residents, down from 7.3 per 100,000 a week earlier. But on Thursday, Ferrer said that number has jumped to 8.1 per 100,000.

FICO score simulator paves approval path for borderline homebuyers

The tools used to help borrowers to reach their targeted middle FICO scores are called “what if” simulators and “way-finder” and are provided by a company named Credit Expert, according to Mindy Leisure, director of rescoring services at Advantage Credit.
