Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown claimed to be the new leader of Kanye West’s Donda Sports Initiative.
Brown, most recently known for his shirtless departure from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the middle of a game, shared the information in an Instagram post noting his plans to attend the Super Bowl in his new role.
“WE THE OWNERS NOW! Donda is about ownership, empowerment, and discovering the next superheroes. This is for the people who counted us out, for everyone who said we can’t— we say WE WILL,” Brown said.
“As President, it was important to me to book the Donda Suite for this years SUPERBOWL LVI. This is a game meant to be watched together. This is the love and unity we need to push. THIS IS FOR THE KIDS, OUR NEXT GENERATION!!!” he added.

The image in the post appears to show the purchase of an owner’s suite and six additional tickets for Super Bowl LVI on February 7. The total purchase is listed at $2.195 million.
The post also promoted plans for community events over Super Bowl weekend that will include inviting kids to the game for the “Donda experience.”
“We will be hosting community events this weekend, and inviting kids with their families to the game, let’s give people the Donda Experience. It’s A Family Affair,” Brown wrote.
A post from Monday night also showed Brown arriving in Los Angeles, which is near Inglewood, the city hosting the Super Bowl.
Brown first mentioned being “president” in a post on Saturday, though it was unclear at the time what the title included.
“Baby Boy the President Now You Got To Make AN Appointment,” Brown posted.

Brown recently spoke out about his increased involvement with West and Donda Sports during an interview with Complex last month.
“We’re just excited about the Donda Sports brand, and making this thing a competitive sports brand to the athletes,” he said.
“I don’t think there’s a lot of fashion lines for athletes, wearing fashionable and comfortable clothes, so with a guy like Kanye West, being able to partner with him and work with him to provide more creative, genius ideas for fashion looks for athletes in general… I’m just grateful for the opportunity here soon, to share what we’ve got with the world. And you guys are hearing it first, we got some exciting things to look forward to this year,” he added.
The same interview revealed Brown has released a rap song since leaving his NFL team in January. The wide receiver also claimed he has been contacted by multiple NFL teams about playing next season.
